A few years ago, after a long and deeply personal journey to start a family that ultimately wasn’t meant to be, followed by major surgery that changed the course of my life forever, I found myself at a crossroads. Like many women facing life-altering moments, I was forced to pause, reflect, and redefine what the future might look like.

During my recovery, something unexpected happened. Instead of focusing on what life had taken away, I began thinking about what I could create. Abbonzzo has been part of my journey since 2014. Originally established as a solutions and sourcing business, it served a very different purpose. But as life changed, so did my vision. This year, I made the decision to reimagine Abbonzzo into something far more personal—a lifestyle brand built around the things that inspire me, the products I genuinely love, and a purpose that extends beyond commerce.
I didn’t want to build just another online store.
I wanted to create a place where every collection had its own identity, every product was thoughtfully chosen, and every visit felt like discovering something special.
That vision became the Abbonzzo you see today.

Perhaps the collection closest to my heart is Tots & Tails. Although I was unable to have children of my own and live with pet allergies, these are two communities that will always hold a special place in my heart. Through this collection, we’re able to celebrate them in our own way, creating a space dedicated to little ones and beloved companions with products chosen to bring joy to families everywhere.

The Preserve is home to the Abbonzzo Apparel collection—our exclusive range created not only to reflect timeless style, but to create meaningful impact. The Preserve is a new approach to fashion—giving pre-loved and discarded clothing a second life through thoughtful curation and reimagining. We transform existing garments into fresh, contemporary pieces that feel unique, stylish, and considered. Fashion with a purpose: preserving what already exists while creating something new.
The gorilla has always held a special place in my heart. Its quiet strength, intelligence, resilience, and deep sense of family embody the very values upon which Abbonzzo has been rebuilt. Yet despite these extraordinary qualities, gorillas remain among the world’s most endangered animals, facing ongoing threats from habitat destruction, poaching, and human encroachment. That is why we created The Preserve.
Every purchase from the Abbonzzo Apparel collection contributes directly to gorilla conservation. A percentage of every item sold through The Preserve is dedicated to supporting trusted conservation initiatives that work tirelessly to protect endangered gorillas, preserve their natural habitats, and help ensure these magnificent animals continue to thrive for generations to come.
For us, the gorilla is far more than a logo. It is a reminder that true strength protects. That resilience creates hope. And that even the smallest actions, when multiplied by a community of people who care, can make an extraordinary difference.
